To our friends and co-laborers in ministry at Value in Purity Conferences, Inc:
Today we announce that our dear friend and partner, Katrina, is leaving VIP. This is a decision she made after much prayer and seeking the Lord’s will. Katrina brought much life and vision to VIP with her unique talents and gifts. She leaves a legacy of the beautiful work she did in growing VIP to its current place.
We will miss Katrina deeply. Please join us in praying for Katrina and her new husband, Kailash, as they seek the Lord’s guidance in ministry in the days ahead.
My Dearest Friends,
First of all, I want to tell all of you who are reading this what a pleasure it has been to be a part of the launch of Value in Purity Conferences, Inc. I have enjoyed being with youth from different areas – mainly Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. I truly believe that the Lord put this on the hearts of three single women for a reason.
As many of you have heard, I got married last September, and my husband and I love married life! Honestly, marriage is wonderful and I have learned so much from my husband, but we are still figuring out how to do life together and how we function as a couple (I heard that it takes at least a year). As we learn and grow together as a couple, it has taken us to new and exciting places, which brings me to the point of this letter.
Because of this new season of life, Kailash and I want to do ministry together as a couple, and as we have prayed for months about this now, we do not feel like the Lord is calling us to VIP. We don’t know yet what the Lord will bring to us, but we do feel like we need to step down completely in obedience.
We still firmly believe in the mission of VIP and know that the Lord will do big things as He sees fit through this ministry and cannot wait to see what He does!
